Wayfinding, Illustration, Fabrication
Through a survey of visual accessibility measures such as braille and hyper-legible typefaces a physical map was created for a recreation facility on UW–Madison’s campus. Using a collection of programs and processes a visual/tactile language was created that is centered on highly visible points of interest. While accommodating for all ranges of sight, this map also takes into account tactile wayfinding for people who are near-blind or blind.
